Who we are

The Culture of Kindness was born out of collaboration between vegan business owners Marina and Angel, teaming up to create delicious and accessible vegan options to the community.
Marina & Angel realised that they can do so much more together, combining their experiences and expertise in the kitchen and bringing with them a wide variety of tastes from their multicultural backgrounds to New Zealand plates.

 Marina Eggleton
Marina's role as TCK's managing owner and chef de patisserie gives us delicious vegan versions of cakes and pastries.
She is of Russian/German descent and has travelled the world, bringing with her a diverse experience in global food.
Her philosophy is  all about giving "a hug in every bite", and evoke a sense of warmth with each dish.
Marina owns Vegan Comfort NZ and runs The Culture of Kindness with Angel.

Angel Apun
Angel as TCK's managing owner and chief kitchen executive is always pushing boundaries for tastes by constantly developing new recipes to add a level of excitement to the TCK menu.
She is of mixed Filipino heritage and brings the unique elements of traditional + contemporary Asian culinary flavours and techniques to the TCK kitchens.
Angel owns Luntian NZ and runs The Culture of Kindness with Marina.
